Rameswaram is an island that is very famous and holy placefor Lord Rama's temple.The temple face is in front of the east. The sea is just 100metres away from the entrance of the temple.There are many famous Temple are situated  near Rameswaram. Kondandarama temple is situated on the way between Dhanushkoti and the Ramanatha temple.

Pamban Rail Scissors Bridge :- This Bridge is Connecting  between the island of Rameswaram to the mainland. The length of the Bridge is  2.06 km. This long rail bridge was built in 1913.  This bridge was constructed on 145 stone pillars.
